A digital photography camp designed especially for kids entering 4th-9th grades where they learn the skills behind how to take and create digital photographs to share their personal summer story.

Students will understand the fundamentals of in-camera shooting, composition, and receive an introduction to Adobe Lightroom. This five day camp allows them to put their new knowledge together with the skills they already have in order to make beautiful photographs.

Each day will include a group photo walk to help them practice what they just learned with immediate feedback. They will create photography goals and receive short assignments to practice on their own. The photo walks and "homework" will help develop their visual acuity, looking for light, shadows, shapes, and more as well as build confidence in their own creative eye.

The highlight of the entire week (for students, parents, and instructor) will be showing off their hard work in a special art gallery just for them. There is nothing more special than watching your child beam with pride as they realize their potential and see their talent on the wall in front of them.

All classes will be in the greater Delmont/Murrysville, PA area (locations pending based on weather). Payment plans available upon request. All students are required to bring a camera - it can be a DSLR, point and shoot, phone camera, etc. DSLR cameras will be available to rent for the week for $75.00
